      The Value to Parents

The Working Parent Institute has helped me further two key understandings:

      1. No parent is perfect and that’s ok.

      2. Parent strengths are different from your child’s strengths.

Intellectually, we know our kids aren’t reflections of us, but we interact with them through our strengths’ lens. This sometimes means bumping heads and communication difficulties on big and small things in school and life. Understanding their strengths and your own helps you take a step back and realize there are better strategies to cope with these differences.

The program has helped me accomplish:

      1. More parenting wins
      2. Better communication with my kiddo
      3. Better strategies for navigating those challenges.

I can’t thank you enough! I hope the program will continue with new cohorts so more parents can benefit as much as I have!
